Dxpalin This site, maintained by the Laboratory of Computer Science,
a unit of the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital
and Harvard Medical School, provides information about DXPlain.
DXplain is a decision support system which uses a set of clinical
findings (signs, symptoms, laboratory data) to produce a ranked
list of diagnoses which might explain (or be associated with) the
clinical manifestations. From this site, visitors can download a
demonstration of the program.

First International Telemedicine Trial to China: ZHU Ling's Case This web site, maintained by the Department of Radiological
Sciences at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), demonstrates
a case of teleconsultation using the internet and it's services
to simplify the diagnosis and treatment of a rare illness that occurred
in China. Eighty four physicians from 18 countries around the world
collaborated their efforts to made the diagnosis, which in this
case saved the life of a young student.
